Special Scholarship Opportunities for WorldTeach Alumni
Lesley University empowers students to become dynamic, thoughtful leaders in education, mental health counseling, business, and the arts. Located in the heart of Cambridge, Massachusetts, home to the world’s best-known universities, Lesley combines an intensely creative environment with the practical experience students need to succeed in their careers. Each year, 6,400 students pursue degrees in education, the arts, counseling psychology, expressive therapies, and more. Along with over 90,000 alumni, they’re discovering the power of creativity to overcome obstacles, foster connections, and reveal fresh answers to the world’s problems.
Through this partnership WorldTeach alumni are eligible to have their application fee waived when applying to a graduate degree program through the Graduate School of Education, Graduate School of Arts and Social Sciences, or the College of Art and Design. WorldTeach alumni will also receive a $5,000 tuition scholarship when they choose to enroll in an on-campus master’s or Ph.D. degree program (including low-residency master’s or PhD degree programs). MIIS/Middlebury and WorldTeach Scholarships
We recognize WorldTeach students and their commitment to service, language and cross-cultural communication as a valuable part of our campus community and global alumni network. WorldTeach alumni are guaranteed a $10,000 scholarship for a graduate degree program at the Middlebury Institute at Monterey.
The Middlebury Institute at Monterey offers Master’s degrees in International Business, International Policy Studies, International Environmental Policy, International Trade Policy, Translation and Interpretation, Teaching a Foreign Language, TESOL, and several other areas.
WorldTeach and The Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey (MIIS) have also collaborated to offer a Masters in TESOL/WorldTeach program. Applicants must apply separately to both MIIS and WorldTeach. Students would do a year of coursework at the Middlebury Institute before beginning their WorldTeach service. From there, they will receive a minimum scholarship of half of their tuition for their final semester(s). This innovative program will allow both a theoretical and practical experience for the student, only enhancing their opportunities in the field. For more information, click here
